This domain project started as a final project for my Literary Analysis course, but now encompasses a variety of my work.
Literary Analysis, ENG220 at Davidson, is a comprehensive English course focusing on poetry, drama, fiction, and film. It sharpens close analysis skills and covers vocabulary and skills for formal analysis. Literary Analysis is a preparation course for the English major but is helpful overall for learning the tools for critique. Throughout the semester we wrote 150-word responses to the text we read or film we watched before class. Then we had three two-page papers throughout the fall, with the course culminating in an extended final essay.
Eden, Othello, and Hotel World, in the drop-down menu, are close readings of different forms of literature we focused on in the ENG220 class. I’ve updated the domain to include a host of my analytical work now. Enjoy!
